'Too many businesses are dull, inauthentic and unethical… let's have ones which aren't.'

Great enterprise is built upon integrity, intelligence and energy. And of course, you have to have fun doing what you're doing—in a relatively natural and satisfying way which doesn't require working crushing hours just to add zeros to a bank balance.

'Business? Or enterprise?'

Hhhmmm… think about this:

'Enterprise' (a lovely word) is about heart.
About beauty. It's about art.
About people throwing themselves on the line.

It's about passion and the selfless pursuit of an ideal. It's cool.

And work that's cool is available to all and any of us.

We swiped that from Tom Peters, because we like the commerce-as-art theme. A lot.

Why?

Doing business differently is a smart move. With increasingly-savvy markets, there's huge commercial advantage.

Undertaken appropriately, 'different business' principle & practice enhance—not compromise—efficiency, effectiveness and profitability.

Bottom line: there are two distinct types of commercial enterprise… those which elicit a smile and those which don't. Which would you rather be?

Who?

This is another daft idea from gulliver.

['Inexcusably pretentious name-change-thing'… that's legally my sur/whole name and the lower case 'g' is correct.]

For 30+ years I've been building businesses for myself and others—usually at the sharp-end where the deals are done and the money changes hands.

Next…

We've a variety of activities planned and in preparation for late 2010 and thereafter.

Before then we'll add to what's here. Right now though, this is just a dialed-down intro is for prospective associates and appropriate others who're curious about what we're doing.
